Angra Dos Reis is a Brazilian resort 150 km southwest of Rio de Janeiro with a very picturesque coastline with 8 bays and 365 islets located close to the coast. Two solemn ceremonies are held here every day: the raising of the national flag at 8:00 and its lowering at 17:00. You can rent a boat in Santa Lucia Harbor and take a trip to the neighboring islands. The colorful boats moored in the harbor are a spectacular sight in themselves. The Carioca Fountain is a monument with a rich history, shrouded in many beliefs. For example, it is believed that everyone who drinks water from the fountain will be forever associated with Angra Dos Reis. Monument in memory of the Aquidaba shipwreck: under a stone stele lie the remains of the crew of one of the strongest warships in Brazil, which sank off the coast of Angra Dos Reis.
